The NCB is designed to complement – not replace – traditional DE filters like those from Satic.

Both the NCB Pro and whole-house Dirty Electricity (DE) filters clean electrical noise, but they differ in purpose, placement, and scope. Traditional DE filters clean the DE from the “hot” and “neutral” conductors in your home wiring (the two rectangular prongs). They leave the grounding conductor (the third prong) untouched. And in fact, some brands of DE filters end up dumping the DE onto the grounding conductor. The NCB is designed to clean the dirty electricity from your grounding conductor (the third prong).
