How to Transfer Files Between Mudita Kompakt and Your ComputerUpdated 2 hours ago
You can transfer music, photos, documents, and more between your Mudita Kompakt and computer using a USB connection or the Mudita Center desktop app. Here’s how.
Transfer Files Using USB (MTP Protocol)
The Mudita Kompakt supports USB file transfer via the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP).
Simply connect your Kompakt to your computer using a USB cable.
Once connected and MTP is enabled, you can drag and drop or copy and paste files between folders.
Important: File transfer must be enabled in the phone’s settings for MTP to work.
Navigate to Settings > Connections > USB Preferences to enable or disable file transfers.
macOS Users: Additional Setup Required
Due to macOS’s limited native support for Android file transfers, you may need to install a third-party utility, such as:
MacDroid
OpenMTP
Other MTP-compatible tools
These applications enable file browsing and transfers on Mac systems.
Transfer Files Using Mudita Center
Mudita Center is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The app lets you:
Back up your data
Transfer and manage files
Sync contacts
Note: File management features in Mudita Center are currently limited but will be expanded in future updates.
